Turn a Flowerpot into a Twine Dispenser

20161107aHere’s an easy garden project that takes only minutes to put together.

20161107C.jpgPlace a ball of garden twine inside an upside-down terracotta pot, threading the loose end out through the drainage hole. Now when you need twine, just pull on the end of the twine and cut off the desired length. The terracotta pot will be heavy enough to hold the ball in place so it won’t roll away and force you to have to rewind it.

20161107bOf course, if plain terra cotta is not attractive enough for your taste, you could paint pot in the color or colors of your choice. Acrylic paint would be perfect for that purpose.

Save up a pile of pots and make it a rainy day project for the whole family!20161107a
