Seeds to sow indoors in Early May

20160501.jpgYou thought the indoor sowing season inside was over? Not at all! There are still a lot of plants it’s worth sowing indoors. These are typically the fast-growing plants that should not be sown too early, otherwise they start to stretch indoors, yet they still benefit from a bit of heat early in their development, something you simply can’t guarantee outdoors this early in the year. Here are a few examples:

  1. African Marigold (Tagetes erecta)
  2. Ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum)
  3. Annual Baby’s Breath (Gypsophila elegans)
  4. Annual Flax (Linum grandiflorumL. usitatissimum and others)
