Many gardeners have discovered the advantages of floating row cover for protecting gardens from light frosts and insects. I once called it “The Perfect Insect Barrier”. And you can find it in just about any garden center as well as on line.
But maybe you don’t have to buy it! You see, you can recuperate old light-weight sheer curtains (net curtains) as row cover for that purpose. It works just as well and lasts longer too! Or maybe you can find used curtains in a thrift shop.
