Easy Watering for Christmas Trees

Are you finding it awkward slipping a watering can under all the presents and branches to water your Christmas tree without making a mess? Why not add an inexpensive automotive funnel to your repertoire of tools?

With its long, flexible extension, the funnel can reach down below the branches and behind the packages, right into the reservoir. And when not in use, just leave the nozzle in place and hide the funnel itself behind the gifts.

Problem solved!

Garden writer and blogger, author of 65 gardening books, lecturer and communicator, the Laidback Gardener, Larry Hodgson, passed away in October 2022. Known for his great generosity, his thoroughness and his sense of humor, he reached several generations of amateur and professional gardeners over his 40-year career. 1. That is probably easier than slipping a piece of hose over the end of a watering can. I have done that for potted plants, but only because there happened to be a piece of rigid corrugated hose from the swimming pool equipment laying about.
