Gardening Book of the Month

Gardening Book of the Month: October 2023

Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ)’s monthly gardening e-book suggestion.

This month, our suggestion is to attend an online workshop! Get your creative juices flowing with the Creativebug platform, where you’ll find thousands of video tutorials and workshops on different kinds of arts and crafts.

The platform features videos such as the Plant Talk series by Lana Williams, also known as The Tender Gardener. In her tutorials, Williams covers the basics of care for common houseplants. She also offers advice on repotting and propagation. BAnQ members can access the platform for free.

  • To view all BAnQ e-books on gardening and horticulture, see our catalogue.
  • Is this your first time using BAnQ’s digital resources? Join today and access a wide range of free online services.
  • Need help downloading the gardening book of the month? Refer to our LibGuides (in French only).
  • If you don’t live in Québec, ask your local library about their digital resources.

Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) provides every Quebecer with free, lifelong access to stimulating environments where they can learn and grow. It collects and shares Québec’s history and culture and expands people's horizons by showcasing knowledge from around the world, both online and at its 12 facilities located throughout the province. Its collections include millions of treasures—books, magazines and newspapers, films, music, images, archives—that are universally accessible now and preserved for future generations.
